I saw Dr. Elkowitz about my under eyes. I was not happy with the way they looked, the puffiness around them. I spoke to Dr. Elkowitz, and there was a solution to that. I was eager to find out what the solution would be, how it would look afterward, and how different my face could look. I started noticing more, quote unquote, issues with my face — the eyes had been going on for a while — to the point that I thought I was going to be stuck like that for the rest of my life, and that there weren't any solutions out there. So we did the brows, the upper eyelids, and this was the lower eyelids. Definitely, my features are more prominent — the puffiness is gone, my eyes come out more — versus in the past, when they would hide beneath that puffiness, which enhanced the dark circles even more. So now my features look more like what they should, if I didn't have those imperfections. Amazing. Like I said, I didn't know such procedures were possible — that facial imperfections like this could be corrected in such a minimal way, where you couldn't notice anything. So I was amazed, and very thankful. For the incisions on the inside, they would pull out the lower lid and alter what needed to be altered from the inside, so there would be as few visible traces as possible from the outside. Again, I was amazed that could be done — I felt normal and looked normal within a few days. People would say to me, "Oh my God, what did you do? It looks normal, it looks natural," versus what they're used to seeing online, where people alter their appearance so much. They said, "Oh my God, you had work done, but it looks so natural" — the essence of you is still there, it's just more refreshed-looking. As for the recovery, there was no pain whatsoever — I want to emphasize that. No discomfort, just cosmetically, a few days where I had to get past some puffiness from the body healing. And of course I would do it again, knowing that, like I said, the essence of me is there — it's not altered, just enhanced and refreshed. So I would definitely do it again. In a few years, I'll be back. I would say, definitely, I am living proof — going into his office for maybe one procedure, being so happy with the results, and going back to say, "Doc, what else can your wonderful hands do to enhance, once again, who I truly am — just a better version of it?"
